Bear Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, are planning to undertake essential overnight resurfacing works on the A7 South of Unthank and South of Chapelhill Junction between Monday 20th and Friday 31st January 2025 between the hours of 19:30 and 06:00 each night, with no works currently planned on Saturday or Sunday nights.

A signed diversion will be in place as per the attached “006 – Diversion Plan – A7 January 2025”, with road users leaving the A7 at Hawick and following the A698, A6088, B6357 and B7201 to rejoin the A7 at Canonbie, and vice-versa for Northbound traffic.
