VE Day 80 Celebrations
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
Whilst VE Day itself is on Thursday 8th of May, Kelso is hosting a public event on Saturday, 10 May 2025, joining national commemorations taking place across the UK and beyond.
As it was in 1945, the heart of the VE Day 80 commemorations and celebrations will be in and for the community.

Kelso Town square to take part in VE commemorative celebrations - 1230 – 1600
Visit the Military Village in Kelso Town Square from 1400-1730
Floors Castle to enjoy a performance from the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and the Kings Own Scottish Borders Veterans Pipe Band - 1745 – 1830
