SPARC (Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime) would like to raise awareness of the use of farm buildings, sheds and workshops that are being rented by criminals to facilitate criminal activity often without the property owners knowledge of what the spaces are actually being used for.

Examples of this are:

• Illicit ‘chop shops’ for stolen vehicles.
• Storage of stolen good and vehicles before they are shipped on.
• Cannabis factories.
