St Boswells Fair  Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 
 
No Waiting 
 
Parking will be prohibited on the following road from 06:00 on the 16th July to 18:00 on the 21st July 2025 to allow StBoswells Fair to take place safely: 
 
Main Street StBoswells – from the A68 to Hamilton Place – Both sides of the road. 
 
Speed Restriction 
 
A 20mph speed restriction will be in place on the following roads from 06:00 on the 16th July to 18:00 on the 21st July 2025 to allow StBoswells Fair to take place safely: 
 
A699 StBoswells to Selkirk Road – from the A68 westwards for 20 metres 
A699 StBoswells to Kelso Road – from the A68 eastwards for 320 metres 
A68 – from existing 20mph signs southwards to a point 20 metres south of the Charlesfield Road junction. 
 
A 40mph speed restriction will be in place on the following roads from 06:00 on the 16th July to 18:00 on the 21st July 2025 to allow StBoswells Fair to take place safely: 
 
A68 – from a point 20 metres south of the Charlesfield Road junction to Laretburn Cottages. 
 
A 30mph speed restriction will be in place on the following roads from 06:00 on the 19th July to 18:00 on the 19th July 2025 to allow StBoswells Fair to take place safely: 
 
C43 Charlesfield Road – from a point 20m west of A68 to the B6359 
B6359 Bowden Toll to Lilliesleaf Road – from C43 to Lilliesleaf  
 
Road closures 
 
The following roads will be closed on the 19th July 2025 at the times specified to allow the StBoswells Fair pony and trap ride to take place. These closures will only come into effect when instructed by a police officer in uniform. 
 
11:30 to 12:15 and 14:00 to 16:00 
 
A68 – from the B6404 to the C43 
 
 
11:30 to 16:00 
 
C43 Charlesfield Road – from a point 20m west of A68 to the B6359 
B6359 Bowden Toll to Lilliesleaf Road – from C43 to Lilliesleaf
