Resurfacing works on the A7 at the English Border for 15 nights between Monday 30th September and Friday 18th October.
The works will be undertaken using a road closure with a signed diversion, the A7 traffic will be diverted via the B6357 to Kirkpatrick Fleming, the B7076 through Gretna and back onto the A7 at Longtown. Please see the attached plans for further information.
There will also be a lining refreshment scheme between Canonbie and langholm that will take place after resurfacing, there is no set date for it currently but I would estimate it would be programmed between 21st and 25th of October. I will update when there is a definite programme in place. Please see the attached plans for further information.
