BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, are planning to carry out carriageway investigation works on the A68 trunk road across Lauder High Street. Please see the enclosed location plan for further details of the extents.

The investigation works will comprise of digital surveys and the extraction of core samples of the road which will help to guide the future carriageway improvements in the area.

The works have been provisionally programmed over 3 shifts on Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th and Monday 23rd June between the hours of 17:00 and 22:00 each night. The works have been planned to take place during daylight hours whilst avoiding disruption to road users and local residents over the main part of the day.
