There is an emergency SOS functionality on most mobile phones which you can initiate quickly and discreetly to alert the emergency services should you find yourself in need which, when activated, will also share location information and message your emergency contacts. 

This is a useful functionality for mobile phones and it also relates to vehicles with the eCall option.

 Within the Cyberbite document attached there are links to help you activate the functionality for both Android and Apple devices and the eCall functionality for vehicles.
