Befriending Connexions in the Scottish Borders brings people with dementia and volunteers together. One-on-one befriending helps to support people with a diagnosis of dementia. Support is delivered by volunteers either in the persons home or in the community. We match our volunteers’ interests, hobbies and skills to that of the person living with dementia to ensure a suitable match is made in the befriending relationship
