The Eckford community, young and old alike, gathered to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee at a BBQ Garden Party held in June 2012. The event was hosted by Eckford Village Hall in conjunction with Ray and Candy Jones. Duncan Macdougall, father of a local resident, celebrated his 89th Birthday on the same day.
