Tweeddale Ramblers at Eckford

A group of 12 Tweeddale Ramblers walked the Jubilee Path from Eckford on a Sunday in July 2018 and this is what they said about their experience  "Everyone agreed it was a terrific walk, one of the best in the Borders. Despite a pretty grim forecast we got away with only a couple of light showers. Our only tricky moment came trying to drop down to the bridge over the Oxnam at Littledeanlees. There were 3 young bulls in the field, with one of them looking quite agitated only a couple of feet from the top gate. We resorted to detouring over some barbed wire further to the right. The Teviot Smokery did us proud with coffee and cakes a short way from the finish."

We very much appreciate hearing the experience of walkers so that we can review the path and take any necessary steps for improvements.
